Our Story
Sustainability
Our product is a composite material mainly consists of gypsum and water-based acrylics.
Gypsum is a natural mineral. It is typically sourced from sedimentary rock. Its chemical composition includes water. An amount of 140 kg of CO2 is produced during the production of one ton of natural gypsum. When compared to Portland cement, emissions of carbon dioxide from natural gypsum as a raw material were found to be at least five times lower.
Gypsum plants have adopted co-generated electrical power to minimize energy consumption, and incorporated processes that use recycled water. This means that virtually no water is wasted during the entire manufacturing process.
We use water-based resin, an eco-friendly alternative to traditional oil-based resin.
A major study conducted jointly by the University of Wales and Cambridge University, reports for every ton of eco-resin, a half-ton of CO2 emissions is neutralised.
Our materials are also VOC free, making them non-toxic to our health and environment.
